Bendsneyder completes the qualifying day in twentieth place. A bittersweet day for our rider, who was only two tenths of a second away from qualifying for Q2. The young Dutch rider has faced a difficult qualifying session at the Italian track. In the course of the day Bensdneyder managed to improve the Friday Free Practice sessions, but it was not enough to achieve the desired fastest lap. Looking ahead to tomorrow, rider and team are convinced that they will find the perfect set-up to make up places from the start.

“We struggled a bit today. We improved the feeling compared to the free practice day, but during qualifying we didn’t manage to improve enough. We have to find something to improve my feeling with the front end and be faster. We are sure that we will find the solution for tomorrow, to start strong from the beginning.”
